HOW IT GOT STARTED

I’ve always had a desire to create. But recently, I’ve struggled the question “Why do I have this creativity?” Social media has also been a strange interest of mine, but when I prayed this quick, soft, but deeply honest prayer, I had no idea what the Lord would do.  “God, I am so inspired by people who impact others through intentionally share their lives through social media. I want that. If you have that for me, help me make it happen.” In just a matter of weeks later, God started putting creative things in my heart and mind that I couldn’t ignore. Through a lot of fear, God has opened door after door for. Yes, I have a real life with lots of weaknesses, but strengths too! I just want to share what I can to inspire those around me as we work to create and live lives that we love. So, introducing “It’s Shannon Long” -a lifestyle blog designed to share achievable, affordable, real life inspiration to everyday people.
